PLTW teacher, Bryan Bacher, and engineering student, Devin Marett, will present to Midway Elementary 5th grade PLTW students.  The presentation topic is Remote Control Systems and Measuring Devices.  The Midway 5th graders are currently studying remote control systems in their engineering classes.

Mandy Orzechowski, from Tri-County Technical College, brought her Segway to Midway Elementary.  PLTW students had the chance to ride the Segway and ask her questions.  Mrs. Orzechowski talked with students about the importance of math, science, and engineering.  She also reinforced how PLTW courses offered at ACSD5 help get students excited about careers in technology.  For more, click here.
